With langify v2 you can currently translate into up to 20 languages.

With your base language that amounts to 21 languages in total.

Note, that the Free plan is an exception where you can only add and manage 5 translation languages.

Yes, additional words can be purchased.

You can choose a word package inside the langify app, based on how many words you need. Any word-package is a one-time purchase and does not add to the monthly app charge.

You can upgrade your plan at any time.

You can downgrade after 14 days.

If you downgrade your plan, you will get credits for the difference in price x the remaining time in the billing period (a billing period spans 30 days).

Yes, langify integrates well with most third-party apps and can translate their texts using custom content

Due to security restrictions, third-party app content cannot be translated on the Checkout pages.

New subscription charges are prorated when upgrading to a higher-priced subscription during the current billing cycle, according to Shopify's policy. The amount due depends on:

  • What you have already paid
  • The cost difference between the plans
  • The time left in the current billing cycle


The calculation formula is:

plan1_cost + (plan2cost - plan1cost) * (cycle_days_left / total_cycle_days) = total_cost


For instance, starting a 30-day billing cycle on the Basic plan at $17.50 then upgrading to the Growth plan for $29.95 on day 15 of the cycle would result in a charge of $23.73 for the upgraded plan.

$17.50 + ($29.95 - $17.50) * (15 / 30) = $23.73
